STEVE TREVELISE HAS BEEN HOSTING WEDDINGS FOR OVER 20 YEARS. HERE ARE THE MOST ASKED QUESTIONS.

HOW WOULD YOU DO MY WEDDING? Exactly the way you want it done. You have been dreaming of this day probably for most of your life. My job is to bring that dream to reality EXACTLY the way you imagine it. The following is most common.

THE CEREMONY: Your day would start with mellow background music as the people find their seats. Then the bridesmaids would make their entrance to a song that you pick out, after a brief pause everyone rises for "Here Comes The Bride" while the she makes her entrance . A wireless microphone can be provided for the person performing the ceremony. As you kiss for the first time as man and wife "The Wedding March" is played while you make your way to the receiving line. This is followed by more appropriate background music as you greet your guests.

THE COCKTAIL HOUR: The cocktail hour is basically an overture of the many different types of music we would play throughout the affair, Just like you have different appetizers to please everyone's taste so will you have varied music ranging from Frank Signature, jazz, oldies, soft classic rock as well as today all blended and with the common theme of the happiness and warmth everyone should be feeling.

INTRODUCTIONS: Twenty years of performing either on the radio , in clubs or on stage makes me very comfortable in front of crowds, even your wild friends and family. After greeting your guests on your behalf , I would then begin by introducing the Parents of the Bride . followed by the Parents of the Groom, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer, then Bridesmaids and the Ushers escorting them. All names would be properly pronounced. Next up would be the Maid of Honor escorted by the Best Man, then all would rise for that dramatic moment as you are introduced for the first time as man and wife, exactly the way you want it done. The song you picked for your first dance will be playing as you embrace and share your love in front of friends and family. In the middle of your song the Wedding Party will be invited to join in and when the song ends after thunderous applause you make your way to the head table. A wireless microphone will be presented to the person performing the "Blessing" and then the best man makes the toast. (that he has spent countless hours working on ;) )

DINNER: The music during dinner is what I consider the most special! This is where your wedding can be set apart from all others because of what I call the "Oh WOW" songs. These songs from any time of your life that have special meaning to either you as a couple , or you with your friends or family. Even though they may not be dance songs they should be played because they are YOUR songs. You'll give me a list. When they come on, those who get it will react, while those who don't will just keep eating. If the dinner is served in courses I may play some slow dance or fifties music in between so the older people can stretch their legs.

DANCING: After the main course is served and removed, I would begin the dancing with the parent dances , Bride and Dad followed by Groom and Mom, Then I invite everyone up. My music covers the entire spectrum of dance, rock, oldies, and big bands as well as all the popular line dances and even country if you so desire. My radio experience on ALICE1045, WYSP, WXTU, WDAS & WPST gives my a thorough knowledge of what songs to play. My expertise comes in mixing them all together in a way that everyone leaves feeling like their tastes were covered.

THE BRIDE CUTS THE CAKE; This memorable event  I would co-ordinate with the banquet manager so that everything goes smoothly from the cake cutting, to the feeding, to the garter removal, the tossing thereof, the throwing of the bouquet and the placement of the garter on the leg of the bouquet recipient by the person who caught it from the groom.

WHERE CAN I SEE YOU? Unfortunately you can't, Since my work is so tailored for the individual, It wouldn't be fair to be judged on someone else's taste. Also it wouldn't be fair to you if other people showed up at your wedding to check me out. I would never turn my focus from your wedding to a perspective client! A video is also not a true representation for the same reason. However you can hear me on the radio! When your in the public eye you can't afford not to be great, and I've been both on the radio and in nightclubs for 20 years!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! My number is
1-800-727-DJ4U and I really hope we get to talk.
